The best 5 Podcasts to listen to right now

Best podcasts of 2018

I have a confession, growing up in a house with four younger siblings and having 2 young boys of my own, I’m used to having a lot of noise in the house. Since my children started school I  find it really quiet at home when I’m on my own, so when I first discovered podcast and audio books I was instantly hooked. And as tedious as this sounds, I now look forward to tidying up the house once the kids leave for school because I know it’s my hour to indulge in whatever i feel like listening to before i get cracking on my own work .

I’m always on the look out for great new podcasts and I’m often asked by others about my favourites so here are my top five best podcasts.  I’d love to hear yours too.

The Trace – http://www.abc.net.au/radio/programs/trace/

Be warned you will probably want to listen to all of the episodes in one day. This is truly addictive stuff. It’s based on a cold case murder in Melbourne and there are so many twists and turns h that you’ll be thinking about it for days. It’s still not solved so every now and then they release an update too.

Revisionist History –  from Malcolm Gladwell.  http://revisionisthistory.com/

The podcast focuses on reinterpreting something from the past: an event, a person, an idea as he says – “Something overlooked. Something misunderstood”.  My favourite episodes are; The Lady Vanishes, The Big Man Cant Shoot, Carlos Doesn’t Remember and Miss Buchanan’s period of Adjustment. Drop me an email or leave a comment in the section below and let me know what you think.

Waking Up with Sam Harris – https://www.samharris.org/podcast

With 5 best seller books already, his podcast centre on important and controversial questions about the human mind, society, and current events. These podcast make you think about tissues such as religion and Artificial Intelligence in a different way and at a far deeper level.

Grant Cardone – https://grantcardonetv.com/podcasts/

When I’m looking for a little motivation Motivation Boost i turn to these.

This guy is not for everyone. He swears and is obsessed with having lots of money but he has a interesting story, a powerful worth ethic and a unique approach to business and life.

This podcast is about the journey some of the worlds most successful entrepreneurs have been on.  It’s candid, honest and funny and gives a real insight into the road to success.
